I just opened my very first can of SPAM...and...what on Earth?!? Were I not looking at the label, I'd swear I'd just opened a can of something from off of the pet food aisle.

I sliced some off and put it into my lean mean grilling machine, and...wow, is it ever salty.
Weird stuff.

I heard it was good for spackle.
Seriously tho, there are a few household ways to use 'em but I can't remember for the life of me right now what they were. i just remember that they don't involve eating them.

My mother bought a can of spam once to take along with us on a camping trip. I remember opening the can, but I don't think anyone was able to actually eat the stuff. My husband, however, apparently became accustomed to some similar stuff (canned meat) from the military. He bought some not long ago and made me try it (he mixed it with cheese wiz and put it between two slices of bread) :barf: It tasted like those mini canned wiener things I ate as a child.
