What do you think of this? This guy claims that he will cut off his feet (or legs) live on webcam on October 31.
Browse the site - it seems genuine to me, in that he's actually collecting money for the privelage of walking (the money [allegedly] will go to his prostetics which he cannot currently afford, but he wants - he's disabled due to an accident).

A lack of money is no excuse for him to do this. There are to many agencies that help people who need this sort of thing and can't afford it. His local social worker at his hospital would know where to direct him. It is prolly a "scam" and the sawed off limb flick being televised live is prolly made in Hollywood. When I first saw this site, the date had just been changed from the end of September to October 31 - and it gave a dorky little explanation. Now, it says Nov. 30th - with no explanation.
