hmmmm....did you hear the story about ........hehe
Well a few weeks ago, my 3 year old, Eishan, decided to get ahold of Jeff's reniassance belt (very large buckle), swing it around and smack my 4 year old, Trystan, over the head with it.
All I knew at first is they were fighting, as usual, and Trystan starting screaming, as usual. I did my normal, yell at them from the other room to stop fighting. Next thing I know, Trystan is peaking up over the gate to the kitchen, with his head covered in blood.
As any normal mother would do.....
I freak out!!!!
First thing I do, after freaking out, find a washcloth...well couldn't find one, so I found a kitchen towel. Wet it down and hold it on his head.
Next, call Jeff, he was at work. tell him you need to come home and that Eishan hit Trystan over the head with something and there he is bleeding really bad.
Then, I call our friend Craig and tell him and ask him to come watch Eishan so we can take Trystan to the hospital.
While trying to hold the towel on Trystan's head, I'm looking for his clothes and getting him dressed. And wash as much blood off his head and face as I can.
Craig pulls up, comes in and less than a minute, Jeff pulls up, freaking out. All that clicked in his head was, come home, kid bleeding, take to hospital. He couldn't remember which kid.
Right before we go out the door to take Trystan to the hospital, Eishan gives him a big hug and tells him he's sorry.
Well, we get to the emergency room and they take us right back and look at him. After they got him all cleaned up, the doctor came in to take a look. We got lucky, he didn't need any stitches. :)
It was so funny, the nurse comes in and Trystan acts all brave and flirts with her, but as soon as the doctor comes in, he acts all fussy and pulls away from him crying. Then the nurse comes back in and he's all brave and flirting aagin.
But anyway.....we were in and out of the ER in less than an hour. A record time, I think. hehe
We get home and they start runing around beating up on each other again. Oh well.
Amazing thing is, this is the first trip to the ER. My mom was shocked we haven't had to take them there sooner.
well, got stuff to go do now, talk to you all later.
