I just went through all of the top stories at AOL; what a nightmare; nothing good (nothing good and "newsworthy") happening in the world anywhere.Humans are overly concerned about their safety (i.e., the lengths of their lives), and far to lax in their concern for seeking opportunity (making something out of their lives, however short, to make the life worth living). I'm thinking that avoiding the news is a good way to begin putting one's mind on improving one's life.

I agree 100% with you !!I thought the same thing these last 2 weeks as I read & read the news each day... I think I'll stay off of them for a while... =o) |

I don't even watch television any longer. I have no antenna on my TV - hence, no TV, not even broadcast.And I don't miss it a single bit. I miss having people around here to chat with, though. |
