Don't get me wrong I love dogs but some folk should not be allowed to have em... Imagine the scene , there's a group of nine or so kids ranging in age from 12 years right down to 2, all playing together on a little tiny piece of grassland at the end of the block when.... Out comes the muppet with his dog, which isnt even on a lead.Said muppet lets his dog go charging off amongst the kids, there's a scream closely followed by cries of "its biting me!it biting me"...what does our muppet do? does he grab his dog and put on the lead he has in his pocket?....no. Instead he expects the kid who has come very close to losing his ear to go over to him and his dog?! What planet is this guy from? My poor nephew is now terrified to go out to play and yon muppet hasnt even had the decency to come and ask how the lad is!! So if i disappear for quite a while it will probably be because ive taken care of a certain muppet and his mutt....the hard way

That's pretty bad. You should've called the police, just in case a serious injury had occurred - to make sure that he, and not anyone else, has to pay the bill. |

Seems i owe my nieghbour and his dog an apology....my nephew is a little git where animals are concerned. I caught him tormenting my moms chihuahua yesterday in a rather cruel way, this is the dog that lost sight in his eye in a fight with the cat. Liam was sat on my cabin bed out of the dogs reach with the curtains closed and the light off so the room was very dark. Then he took a flashlight and played it to and fro across the dogs face, result? the poor wee dog was blinded and frightened. in these situations a dog could do one of two things, cower or attack and he didnt seem to be cowering when i arrived on the scene. I dont know what happened exactly on the day he was bitten but after this escapade I wouldnt be surprised if the dog that bit him was provoked into it. I've told his mom and she has agreed to drop all charges against the dogs owner and will not try to get the dog destroyed. I've also said i wont have him to stay again if I ever hear of him being cruel to any other animals in any way...hope he learns his lesson |

Oh and as for medical treatment I guess we Brits are lucky there, tis paid for by government through taxes etc, with a few exceptions for example dental and eye stuff if your a working adult ( you would also have to pay for any medications you needed if you are employed unless its a terminal illness eg cancer) |

Yeah, I did too (or still do?). Another Brit used the word "muppet" to describe someone with me last week. Maybe we need an English to English translator? |

Over here its the same thing , as in a muppet is one of Jim Hensens creations, but its also been adopted and applied to those completely incompetent fools who are most like Mr Hensens creations in that they need a hand up thier arse's to operate em ;) |
