You were not my Father but you were there for me
And i'll not forget the lessons you gave for free
You taught me to hunt and live off the land
To work with nature, hand in hand
And even when I did wrong by you
Your caring heart came shining through
No matter how I caused you pain
You took me back time and again.
You taught me all I needed to know
So that into a man I could grow
And now Ive grown into this man
I hope your proud of the man I am
One thing I've learnt, I wish i'd known before
Any man can be a father, few can be more.
You were not my father amd in a way I'm glad
You were better than a father, You were my Dad.
