I just joined this site, I have a webcam and don't know which software is the best to use. Should I try ChillCam or Webcam32?

ChillCam is the easiest to set up (use Chillcam 2.4 if you use Chillcam) and it has lots of cool filters and interesting stuff. However, video streaming is not an option with ChillCam.

Webcam32 is a bit more involved to set up, it has few features, but it is able to stream. Here is a link to a non-expiring version of Webcam32 (but it times out once per hour and must be restarted).
You can use both ChillCam and Webcam32, but only one can be used at a time. Most people have downloaded and installed both of them, but favor one.

To set them up, just follow CamChatting's directions - they cover everything.

Most of you know that GTV rocks out with webcam 32. I like it best because it allows you to have a streaming cam set up, send out still shots or even a slide show. I love watching the people with streaming cam on. That means all of YOU! (points her finger at everyone) It is like TV and to me that is what cams are all about. People seem to find webcam32 hard to work with initially. Is it possible Ouro that we could upload other types of streaming software? Like a 'streaming for dummies' like me!
